Environmental and Sustainability Rolling Action Plan 2023-2028. Key areas for development.
Please contact the clerk for a more detailed up-to-date plan. At the meeting of the Parish Council on the 13th of February the Parish Council identified the following areas for development.
Develop a Neighbourhood Plan for the Parish.
Develop further the Playing Field.
Install a composting toilet on Jubilee Park.
Build or buy a suitable storage facility for the PC.
Ensure areas developed over the past five years are sustained and maintained.
Identify and develop other green areas within the Parish.
With other partners.
Resurface the carpark at the village hall and plant two trees. (PS Homes).
Enhance the area outside the church and school. (PS Homes).
Landscape in conjunction with the community and PS Homes the community areas on the Moor Lane site including the new carpark.
Working with private land owners encourage the planting of new trees.
Undertake a feasibility study regarding a cycle path to the station. (NKDC/LCC).
Widen the footpath at the junction of Station Road and High Street (LCC).
