Parish Council Meeting
AGENDA 13th January 2025

A Parish Council meeting will be held at Swinderby Village Hall on Monday 13th January 2025 commencing at 7.30 pm.
The business to be dealt with at the meeting is listed on the attached agenda. 
The meeting is open to the public and there will be a 15-minute public forum when members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the Council in relation to the business on the agenda.

Public Forum
1.    To receive any apologies for absence
2.    To receive any declarations of interest
In accordance with the Localism Act 2011 and consider any requests for dispensation in relation to Disclosable Pecuniary Interests or any other interests as outlined in the Council’s Code of Conduct.
3.    To receive and approve: 
The minutes of the Parish Council meeting 2nd December 2024, previously circulated to members and published in draft to the website as required under the Transparency Code for Smaller Authorities. 

4.    Finance
a)    To formally note items of income.
b)    To formally approve items of expenditure.
c)    Bank reconciliation for the year to date to be approved.
d)    To review spend against budget.
e)    To consider grass cutting quotes for 2025.
f)    To consider LALC membership for 2025/26 and the LALC training scheme for 2025/26.
g)    To consider the budget for 2025/26.
5.    Planning and Tree works

a)    Applications Received 

24/1372/HOUS    Erection of a detached workshop / store to rear of garden (part retrospective)     25 Manor Road Swinderby

6.    To report on updates on repairs to the play equipment and installation of the goal posts.
7.    To consider the Station Road Playing Field development.
8.    To update on the application for funding for the proposed new play equipment.
9.    To consider options for a new speed indicator device.
10.    To consider the possibility of purchasing of land for a footpath as an option from the Community Contribution for the Church Farm Development.
11.    To consider accessibility requirements for the nature reserve.
12.    To consider possible steps to replace the burnt section of hedge in the carpark. 
13.    To receive any updates on the Neighbourhood Plan.
14.    To report any updates regarding the provision of a shop in the new development. 
15.    To consider options and costs for the provision of WiFi at the Village Hall.
16.    Clerk and Councillors Reports (for information only), including a review of actions from minutes and matters that Councillors wish to be brought to the next or subsequent meetings. No decisions may be made under this section, but councillors may wish to use this to flag up issues.
