A Parish Council meeting will be held online on Monday 11th January 2021 commencing at 7.30pm.  The meeting can be accessed by Councillors and the public using the following link:

The meeting is open to the public and there will be a 5-minute public forum when members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the Council in relation to the business on the agenda. The Clerk may also be contacted prior to the meeting if you wish any items to be raised with the Parish Council before matters are formally discussed.

1. Public Forum

2. To receive any apologies for absence

3. To receive any declarations of interest

In accordance with the Localism Act 2011 and consider any requests for dispensation in relation to Disclosable Pecuniary Interests or any other interests as outlined in the Council’s Code of Conduct.

4.To receive and approve:

The minutes of the remote Parish Council meeting 14.12.2020, previously circulated to members and published in draft to the website as required under the Transparency Code for Smaller Authorities.

5. Finance

a)To formally note items of income

b)To formally approve expenditure since last meeting

c)To consider a contribution to the donation from LALC to an armed forces charity and guide dogs charity in lieu of time given to support the development of the new website

d) To consider a donation to the Norton Disney History and Archaeological Society during the current financial year.

e) To approve items of expenditure

f) Bank reconciliation for the year to date to be approved

g) To review spend against budget

h) To agree the 2021 budget and complete the precept request form

6. Planning

a)Applications Received

7. To receive any updates on the brownfield site

8. To receive any updates on the proposed Rendering Plant.

9. To consider plans for the footpath/cycle path to the railway station

10. To consider the need for Trustees for the Bowls Club.

11. To consider any updates on the proposal for the installation of village ‘gates’

12. To discuss any updates on the increase in lorries through the village

13. To consider any plans for updates to the Play Area including benches

14. To acknowledge a donation from a resident

15. Clerk and Councillors Reports (for information only), including a review of actions from minutes and matters that Councillors wish to be brought to the next or subsequent meetings
